ISLAMABAD: In order to facilitate more tourist and face uplift of these facilities, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is looking for installation of prefabricated structures so that a maximum number of tourists can be accommodated in these resorts annually.
This was stated in a meeting between Ch. Abdul Ghafoor Khan, Managing Director PTDC and Mr. Du, Director Pakistan and Mr. Chen Yuno, Senior Supervisor of the Chengdu Xingchen Investment Group in Pakistan on Wednesday. The meeting was informed that China’s Chengdu Xingchen Investment Group will develop Wildlife Park at Kallar Kahar, Amusement Park on Theme of Disneyland and Prefabricated Tourist Accommodation Structure for PTDC.
Ch. Abdul Ghafoor said that, “PTDC is currently running 35 motels, 4 restaurants and one hotel located at prime tourist locations all over Pakistan.” He added that, “The ongoing project of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) taking the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and China to new heights.” “The CPEC is intended to promote connectivity across Pakistan with a network of highways, railways, and pipelines accompanied by energy, industrial, and tourism infrastructure development projects to address critical requirements needed to boost Pakistan’s economic growth,” he added.
