ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan expressed displeasure to Inspector General of Balochistan police, who said he wants to keep the report of Quetta terrorist incident under wraps.
During the proceedings of suo motu case of Quetta tragedy, the top police officer of the province told the court he had submitted the report, which should be kept secret, adding all these mishaps are incidents of terrorism.
Justice Sheikh Azmat bristled at him, “IG Sahib, we are not from Mars. Everybody knows that this is terrorism as there were no wedding fireworks in Quetta.”
Presenting his arguments before the court, Hamid Khan Advocate contended there was no security personnel at the entrance of Civil Hospital, adding arrival of VIPs at the hospital sparked problems in providing medical facilities.
Khan said fake attendance record of doctors is being made, adding the federal and provincial governments did not institute any inquiry into the incident.
