Rawalpindi Police has made important revelations in the case of the TikToker who was killed in Taxila, saying that her father, brother and cousin were involved in the TikToker’s murder.
SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mehboob made important revelations and said that TikToker was killed by her father, brother and cousin together and after the father killed his daughter, he also became the plaintiff in the case.
He said that her family members were involved in the murder of TikToker Gulmina, the family members did not like her videos on social media.
SSP Operations said that the number of accused arrested in the TikToker murder case is 5, one of the accused has confessed to the crime and both the shooters have been arrested.
It should be noted that a case of murder of a married woman has been registered in Lakrati in connection with the murder of TikToker Gulmina.
SSP Operations Malik Tariq Mahboob said that the CPO has formed teams, CCTV footages were collected, we have conducted raids at various places, the people who were named in this case, but during the investigation it was found that more people were involved in it.
He said that this TikToker had migrated from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and came to Islamabad. Some time ago, there was an objection to the TikToker’s participation in a wedding ceremony and earlier an attempt was made to attack her in Haripur.
He said that Muttaqula’s brother, father, cousin and brother are involved in her murder. They planned the murder in such a way that the blame for the murder could be placed on other people, while we have arrested 5 people.
Malik Tariq Mahboob said that father Fazal, brother Bashir, cousin Ehsan, father’s uncle Rozi Khan and cousin’s son Yasin have been arrested in this murder.
Honor killing was committed, police spokesperson
Releasing details regarding the case, the Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said that Rawalpindi Police has achieved great success in the murder case of social media personality Shamsu Bibi alias Ayesha Gulmina and the murder case has been dropped where according to initial investigation, the murder was committed in the name of honor.
He said that the blind murder of the social media personality has been traced, 5 accused including the father and brother of the victim have been arrested. The arrested accused include the victim’s father, real brother, uncle, father’s uncle and cousin’s son. Father Fazal, brother Bashir, cousin Ehsan, father’s uncle Rozi Khan and cousin’s son Yasin are in police custody.
He said that social media personality Shamsu Bibi alias Ayesha Gulama was murdered by her father and brother along with his associates. On the instructions of CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera, several special teams were working on the murder case. The teams kept reporting directly to the CPO moment by moment. More than 100 CCTV cameras were checked and all sources including human intelligence were used.
The spokesperson said that the police expanded the scope of the investigation and, in view of the circumstances and events, investigated the father and brother of the victim. The accused revealed that they had murdered social media personality Ayesha along with their associates and the accused tried to create a pretense to deceive the law.
He said that according to the initial investigation, the murder was committed in the name of honor, however, important revelations may come out in further investigation. The police arrested all five accused in the light of evidence and investigation.
He said that the Taxila police have worked tirelessly to arrest the accused since the incident. The real accused in the case were arrested through a professional investigation by the police. The accused will be charged with solid evidence and given the right punishment. No matter how clever the accused are, the law cannot be misled.
