KOTLI: Three terrorists having links with Indian intelligence agency ‘RAW’ were arrested with arms here on Wednesday.
The police responding to a tip-off regarding presence of extremists, conducted operation in main town of district Kotli of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) during which three terrorists were apprehended with arms.
The detainees in the preliminary interrogation revealed having links with Indian intelligence ‘RAW’ and they had planned to conduct terror attack in the district on Defence Day of Pakistan but failed to fulfill their nefarious designs due to strict security arrangements on the occasion.
The nabbed terrorists were produced in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) which remanded them into police custody for further interrogation and according to police sources startling revelations were expected.
