Three killed as pickup falls in gorge in Bajaur Agency

KHAR (INP): At least three persons including a woman were killed and four others injured when a pickup fell in a gorge here on Sunday.

Political administration sources said that a pickup going to Barang Sharbati from Khar, the tribal headquarters of Bajaur Agency skidded off the road and fell into a gorge.

As a result of accident three persons including Sher Alam, his wife and another person died on the spot while second wife of Sher Alam, his niece, Mehran Gul and Nawab Khan sustained injuries.

The local people on self help basis shifted the injured to Batkhela Hospital for treatment and according to medics condition of one wounded person was serious.

Eye witnesses said that the accident took place due to poor condition of road and careless driving.
