HUB (INP): At least three persons were killed and about two and half dozens
injured in collision between truck and passenger bus here on Thursday.
Rescue sources said that accident took place at RCD Highway in Hub where a Karachi bound passenger bus coming from Quetta collided head-on with an over speeding truck.
As a result of collision three passengers died on the spot while 28 others sustained wounds. Police, rescue personnel and local people reached the scene of accident and started rescue activities.
The injured were shifted to hospital in Uthal for first medical aid where people with severe wounds were referred to Karachi and according to hospital sources condition of several injured was critical and it was feared that death toll could rise further.
