Three die in separate mishaps

SWABI (NNI): Armed men shot dead one person while two labourers were electrocuted and three others scorched due to electric shock here on Wednesday.

Police said that accused Mir Baz and Babar hailing from Maneeri Payan area of Topi, district Swabi gunned down Sherzada, 54, while he was present in cattle market for cattle trade. The deceased was brother in-law of the culprits.

In Mohallah Ghulam Khel of tehsil headquarters Topi, two labourers Irshad and Ayaz were electrocuted to death while three others Sardar, Nawaz and Hazarat Ali were scorched when they mistakenly touched the main transmission line during working at the roof of under construction house.

The bodies and injured were moved to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Topi for medico-legal formalities.
