LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) head Allama Tahir ul Qadri has said that Lahore has voted in favour of revolution.

He made these remarks while speaking to media after reaching Minar-e-Pakistan, where tens of thousands of people accorded him a warm welcome.

“Lahore has opened door for revolution, which has taken off,” he said.

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) head Allama Tahir ul Qadri said that people were taking to streets to bring about a revolution.

Qadri said that people would gather under the banner of Pakistan Awami Tehreek in great numbers. “I am seeing the success of inqilab dharna,” he said.

Rubbishing reports of a deal with the government, the moderate Islamic scholar said that there would be blood for blood regarding Model Town tragedy.

“Rulers have made the entire Pakistan a police state. It won’t make any difference if Rana Sanau-llah was inducted back to Punjab cabinet.” Responding to a question, he said that he was not contact with Chaudhry brothers. Chaudhry brothers were to come to Thokar Niaz Baig, but they could not come due to rush. Agencies
