NAIROBI: At the AmmoDump Shooting Range, where Arshad Sharif had spent his final night before being killed by Kenyan police, there were about ten American instructors and students from the US.
According to a reliable member of the Kenyan administration, on October 22 and 23, Sharif dined with other visitors at the venue, including American instructors. On October 23, at 8 p.m., Arshad Sharif and his host Khurram, the brother of Waqar Ahmad, departed AmmoDump Kwenia Range, also known as Ammodump Shooting Range, in the dark for Nairobi. An hour later, he was shot to death.
The identities and contact details of the instructors and trainers who were undergoing training at AmmoDump Training Camp at the time of the incident were requested in a letter from Pakistani investigators to the Kenyan authorities. The investigators, however, did not identify the nationalities of the trainers and trainees.
The Kenyan government official told that his country has asked the Pakistani brothers to provide complete information about everyone who was on the site that evening, including with their identities and the circumstances behind their presence.
The Kenyan source claimed that the East African nation’s government was addressing Pakistan’s request. Before one from the AmmoDump shooting range connects to Nairobi, there are two roads that lead to Tinga. One is near the main entrance on the right, and the other travels to the left and goes via the shooting range.
The one that goes through the shooting range is typically the one Khurram uses. He typically walks by this side, but on that particular day, they utilised the opposite path, according to a site worker who spoke on the condition of anonymity ,because they don’t have the right to speak to the media.
