After filing his petition in so called AWAM KI ADALAT on GT Road Nawaz Shareef has now opted for the constitutional and legal way by filing a review petition at the relevant forum. Now with this development a commoner like me finds himself grappled with many crunch questions.
For example I wonder now what was the ultimate objective of the GT road show? Was it a power show with the aim to pressurize the state institutions before filing this review petition? If you are now opting for this review petition you must answer this simple question that why you literally committed the contempt of the court while travelling on GT Road and addressing PMLN rallies? What Nawaz Sharif said on G T Road and in Lahore cant be sidestepped so easily.
He has been Prime Minister of Pakistan for three times . He must have that acumen to behave in troubling situation. His diatribe was very sad, alarming , intriguing and disgusting . If a person of his stature talks about the top judiciary of the country in this way it is disgusting. There is no doubt about it that he has prima facie committed contempt of court time and again . We are well aware of the fact that honorable High Court has taken notice of his contemptuous speeches .
He should have behaved in a reasonable and prudent way. It was purely a matter of law. There has been no conspiracy against him. The highest court of Pakistan has decided against him. He was not ousted by any military coup.
But the way he behaved has raised many many questions. I am afraid the impact of his diatribe shall follow him in the years to come.
There is very little hope in review petition for the reasons well known to every student of law. And sir disqualification is not the end of the story. There in NAB reference as well. And Mr tahir ul qadri is always there in Lahore asking for justice in Model Town killing.
So what about baqer Najfee commission report? Are you going to make it public my sir?
