
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has ordered the initiation of a national project to teach people in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
In this regard, the prime minister has directed the PM’s Strategic Reforms to launch the project as soon as possible, according to Salman Sufi, the head of PM’s Strategic Reforms.
He also stated that a full approach would be unveiled the following week.
CPR, he claimed, had saved countless lives around the world in locations where access to quick medical help was limited.

Sufi stated that CPR training will be made a part of the educational curriculum and that every citizen would receive training as part of the drive.
He noted that Prime Minister Sharif had ensured meritocracy in the health sector, as well as the provision of high-quality education and the construction of health facilities in Punjab province.
