ISLAMABAD: The deadline for submitting nominations for the four available posts of EB Ordinary Member and the position of International Hockey Federation (FIH) president has been set for August 26.
According to a statement from the FIH, the elections would take place on November 5 during the virtually staged FIH Congress on November 4-5.In order to finish the term of outgoing FIH president Dr. Narinder Dhruv Batra, who resigned on July 18, the next president of the International Hockey Federation would serve for a two-year term.
In November, the terms of four Ordinary EB Members, including Maureen Craig-Rousseau (Trinidad & Tobago), Elizabeth Safoa King (Ghana), Shahbaz Ahmad (Pakistan), and Michael Green, came to a conclusion (Germany).
