ISLAMABAD: The testimonies against ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Flagship reference completed on Thursday. Nawaz Sharif will record statement in his defence.
On the other hand, in Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference case, NAB Prosecutor Wasiq Malik is continuing his final arguments.
NAB prosecutor said that Al-Azizia reference case is not simple, it is a white collar crime case in which Nawaz Sharif committed an organized crime.
Wasiq Malik added that foreign property of Nawaz Sharif’s children was revealed first in Panama papers before this property was not mentioned.
He said that accused were given chance of defense before the Supreme Court, joint investigation team (JIT) and NAB but they lied and provided fake evidences.
NAB prosecutor further stated that Nawaz Sharif concealed his assets through Benamidar ownership. NNI
