LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Monday condemned the Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park suicide attack and stressed for national consensus over security of the country.

All armed groups should be hunted without any discrimination in all the provinces under National Action Plan, he said while talking to media here at Jinnah Hospital after inquiring about the health of injured people.

Jahangir Khan Tareen, Mian Mahmood-ur-Rasheed, Ejaz Chaudhry and other PTI officials were also present on the occasion.

Imran Khan said the culprits involved in terrorist attacks in the name of Islam were misleading the Muslims as they were acting against the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

He said that police should be de-politicised and interference in its affairs should be ended to get better results.

Imran said, “We should change our priorities as no nation could progress without peace.”
