Nok Kundi: Taftan Rifles marked Pakistan Day celebrations by organizing a grand function here on Wednesday. It was one of the most historic functions organized in the history of Nok Kundi in which a special parade was also organized. The function was attended by people from all walks of life.
The parade included a march past, children tabaloes, cultural dances, dog parade, and motor cycle parade. In the absence of any facilities to organize such an event in Nok Kundi, a parade ground was made with an effort of almost two months.
At the end of the function a prize distribution ceremony was held and prizes were awarded to all the school kids, and all winners who participated in the one week long event. It is pertinent to mention that the function was made possible due to the personal interest and efforts of Col Kashif Ijaz Chaudhry.
