25 people were killed and more than 50 were injured in the suicide blast at the railway station. According to SSP Operations Muhammad Baloch, initially the explosion appears to be a suicide. He said that the blast occurred when a large number of passengers were present on the platform. 2 railway police officials were also injured in the blast, including Head Constable Ghulam Rasool Jamali and Head Constable Bhoral Khan.
