BHAKKAR: Chief of PAT Dr. Tahirul Qadri has said he was suffering heart ailment and doctors had advised him rest. Speaking to media in Bhakkar after inaugurating a mosque, he said his party’s scheduled programs – sit-ins and protests – will continue as per plan despite heart problems. “I had a hypertension yesterday that I could not even sleep the whole night,” he told. The PAT chief said doctors had asked for immediate angiography in London and changed medicine for stroke treatment. I came home despite serious warnings from the doctors to avoid any travel, he told, adding he had been suffering heart problem from 1982. “After tomorrow’s jalsa I will have some time to rest,” he said.
