ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze News SK Niazi Talks in Program “Sachi Baat.” He stated, during the protest, “Strikes and dharnas harm and damage the economy.” He further stated that there is a tense situation in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The protests are causing lots of problems for the citizens. Due to uncertainty, the business community is suffering a lot. SK Niazi took the reporters from Rawalpindi (Fahad Altaf), Lahore (Qasim Ali), and Karachi (Loqman Mughul). The reports revealed that, as compared to Rawalpindi and Islamabad, other cities do not have similar numbers of protesters or PTI followers.

Supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan blocked roads near the capital on Tuesday, disrupting traffic, as they protested against a bid to assassinate their leader at a recent anti-government rally to demand early elections. “People are finding it very hard to go to work; families have been stuck in the traffic for hours.”

Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Aftab Jahangir participated in the programme “Sachi Baat.” On the protest across Pakistan by PTI’s followers, the PTI leader stated, “Protest is the constitutional right of every political party, and protest in Rawalpindi because Rawalpindi city is the hub of politics and political activities.” Responding to the question of PTI’s performance, he said, “Tehreek-e-Insaf did a lot of welfare work during his tenure.” “Opponents are afraid of PTI’s popularity, and PTI’s demand is only fair and transparent elections.”

He further stated, “Tehreek-e-Insaf talks about the people and understands the issues of common people that are the reason Tehreek-e-Insaf has received immense acceptance from the people, and we are not doing anything against the Constitution; it is using its democratic right to protest. People have become conscious; they understand the narrative of Imran Khan.

Elections are the only solution to end the unrest in the country. In PTI’s government, PDM protested three times during our regime. Only transparent elections are the key to the survival of the country.

The government should consider the mood of the people and play a role in ending the state of agitation. For the survival and safety of Pakistan, all parties should come up with a solution. Pakistanis are a great nation and are respected around the world.

On the economic situation, economist Shahid Hasan Siddiqui presented his expert views in the programme “Sachi Baat.” He stated that for the first time in its history, Pakistan has faced enormous problems; political intolerance is disappearing in Pakistan. He further stated, “The country is suffering from the worst flood in history; all stakeholders need to come together for the survival of Pakistan; Pakistan’s economy is facing a severe crisis.”

On responding to the question, he said, “Pakistan’s relations with the US are also at a critical stage; all the pillars of the state need to solve the critical issues.” “We should think, and we need to identify the dangers for the future of the country and its people.” He concluded, “Political maturity is very important for the stability of the economy.”
