LAHORE  : Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi has deposited more than Rs 2 crore 56 lakhs amount in the Chief Minister Relief Minister Relief Fund.

In this regard, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar while talking on telephone with Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi appreciated the Speaker for depositing the fund for the activities against Corona Virus. Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi, Deputy Speaker, Opposition Leader, all MPAs and Assembly Secretariat employees above grade 18 have donated their one month each salary whereas grade 16 and 17 employees have donated half month salary each. Ch Parvez Elahi said that we have to fight against Corona Virus unitedly, MPAs and Assembly Secretariat officers have played full role in the Fund, tackling Corona Virus is a big challenge and the whole nation should donate with open hearts for the affectees, philanthropists should forward and help the affectees against Corona Virus, we have also to take care of the lockdown affectees. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar thanked Ch Parvez Elahi and said that his this step will also instigate other personalities and they will also come forward to help the affectees.
