KARACHI: Due to protective measures for Eid Milad un Nabi, which falls on Sunday, mobile phone services were unavailable in numerous sections of the city on Saturday morning, causing difficulty for Karachiites (September 9).
According to a Pakistan Telecommunication Authority spokeswoman, cellphone service was shut off on the government’s orders on the 11th and 12th of Rabi ul Awal in several areas of the city.
Mobile services were suspended in several locations, including Gulistan-e-Johar, Defense, Saddar, and Nazimabad.
