The injured were rushed to CMH Quetta for medical treatment where the condition of five was said to be critical. Previously on July 13, in a mission to eradicate terror elements from the area, forces had conducted an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan in which four soldiers were martyred while four terrorists were also killed. The martyrs included Sepoy Muhammad Ismail Khan, Sepoy Muhammad Shahbaz Yaseen, Sepoy Raja Waheed Ahmed and Sepoy Muhammad Rizwan Khan.
