SKARDU: District government has closed Gilgit main road due to landsliding whereas the breakage of two bridges in Rando has caused as many as 500 families stranded.
As per details, glaciers melting has also worsened the flood, creating fear among the locals.
The ongoing inundation has completely demolished crops, gardens and trees while land sliding has disconnected the road route of several villages.
