KARACHI: The Pakistan Rangers Sindh and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) carried out a raid at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s Land and Revenue and Engineering departments located at the Civic Centre on Friday night.
According to reports, the raid was carried out with the consent of higher authorities.Sources said that Jahangir Baloch, Director Land of the KMC, was also present when the paramilitary force and the FIA carried out the search operation.
The sources further said that data of the two departments was loaded on a truck by Rangers’ personnel.
“Personnel of paramilitary force Rangers and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) busted Land & Revenue and Engineering Departments of SBCA and seized hoards of important files pertaining to some residential schemes registered in the name of fugitive SBCA head Manzoor Abdul Qadir Kaka,” an official said requesting anonymity.
