KARACHI: Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif Wednesday apologized for criticizing Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
“I have apologized before, and if you say I will apologize again”, said the CM in a light mood to the media in Karachi.
Shehbaz Sharif had been harshly criticizing Asif Ali Zardari in the past when he was serving as the president of Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif held separate meetings with Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan.
The Chief Minister Punjab visited Karachi on the invitation of Sindh Chief Minister and also attended luncheon given in his honour.
Shahbaz Sharif also met Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and discussed law and order situation and political matters in the meeting whereas he also congratulated the governor prior to his daughter’s marriage.
After his meeting with the governor, Shahbaz Sharif reached CM House Sindh and attended the meeting to discuss country’s present status and political scenario.
The meeting was also attended by PPP leader Sharjeel Memon, Nisar Khoro and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Saleem Zia, Rana Maqsood and Raheela Magsi. NNI
