KARACHI (INP): The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday allowed the Bahria Town administration to resume construction work on a flyover and underpass in Clifton area of the metropolis.
The court had issued a stay order on construction of these projects on the pretext of environmental concerns.
Welcoming the court’s decision, Construction Manager Abdul Latif stated that they will work day and night to complete the projects. Labourers have already resumed their work in different sections.
Bahria Town administration maintains that the construction of the flyover and underpasses will bring civic infrastructure in Karachi at par with world standards. The projects would also provide much relief to commuters from traffic woes.
