ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Spokesman Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday said that what the Sharif family’s lawyers argued before the apex court, the government ministers gave entirely different picture outside.
Talking to media at Supreme Court he said that the Sharif family sought immunity in the country but denied the same by stepping out of the court room. Chaudhry said that Maryam Nawaz’s counsel had urged the court to ban media coverage of the case and sent it to lower court. He advised PML-N leaders to tell the people what they argued in the court. He said that before January 2014, Maryam Nawaz had not been paying taxes, adding that in his first statement she did not mentioned or referrer to Qatari prince’s letter.
