LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday said that essential commodities and fares of public transport have witnessed record decrease.
The chief minister was addressing a meeting of Price Control Committees in Lahore .
The meeting particularly reviewed reduction in fares of public transport and prices of commodities following recent cut in the prices of petroleum products.
Addressing via video link, CM Punjab expressed satisfaction that the government’s public welfare measures are bearing fruit.
During the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif advised authorities to take action against profiteers and hoarders creating artificial shortage of essential commodities.
