Patriot Web Desk: PTV anchor Shafaq Hera has rubbished rumours that she has married Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique. Various rumours circulating on social media had alleged that the senior Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader has secretly married Shafaq.
In a facebook post Shafaq said ‘The rumours about my wedding with federal minister are all fake. I strongly condemn this disinformation campaign against me. I can’t allow or tolerate anyone to say fake things about me.’
Such unfounded rumours have become a norm since the rise of social media, and often prove to be false and are circulated merely to get higher ratings for various websites.
