Senate committee on Ethics approves code of conduct for members

ISLAMABAD: Newly constituted Committee of Senate on Ethics in its meeting observed that mechanism for making legislation effective is under way and recommendations will be formulated soon.

Chairman Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani chaired meeting of the committee held at the Parliament House on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the code of conduct and rules for members of the Upper House were finalized by the committee and the report on the same was adopted. The report of the committee will be presented in the Business Advisory Committee meeting before the upcoming Senate session.
