BILAWAL BHUTTO ZARDARI

KARACHI: A 10-month-old child allegedly died as a result of not receiving timely medical treatment due to the security protocol of Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who were present inside the civil hospital for inauguration of trauma center.

Police had barred patients and their family members from entering the hospital due to strict security for the PPP leaders.

The baby‘s father, Faisal, a resident of Lyari area has alleged that he was unable to bring the child to the hospital in time due to strict security protocol around the hospital.

“Doctors said that life of child could have been saved if she was brought to the hospital ten minutes earlier,” the wailing father told media outside the hospital.

Meanwhile, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah completely ignored reporters’ questions regarding child‘s death.

“This is the biggest project in Pakistan. This trauma center is a gift from Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Zardari for the people of Karachi,” the Chief Minister told media.

Sindh Education Minister, Nisar Khuhro, who was also present on the scene, told media that he has no knowledge of the incident. He expressed his sympathy with the bereaved family.
