ISLAMABAD: Media should highlight the sacrifices and efforts of police to boost up the moral in order to make the society crime free.

This was stated by the Chairman of Roze News and Editor in Chief of Pakistan Group of Newspapers Sardar Khan Niazi while talking in National Police Academy Sihala, he said that role of police holds huge significance to keep the country peaceful. Therefore, provincial and federal governments must provide all the necessary resources to policemen. Police would perform best when they would be equipped with modern weapons and technical education. He said that it is regrettable that media just keep focusing on the negative side of the picture and sacrifices rendered by policemen could not make the headlines. He said that it is the prime duty of the media to reflect also the positive image of the police which would further enhance their performance. While addressing, he said that Roze News is the first TV channel which has launched a comprehensive code of ethics based on the norms of society and on Islamic teachings. He further said that Roze News would keep boosting the moral of the policemen which is the need of time.
