PM congratulates newly elected Reps of ANPS
ISLAMABAD: Renowned journalist, Editor in Chief of Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze TV Sardar Khan Niazi has been elected as unopposed Member Executive Body (MEB) of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) for 18th consecutive time.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has congratulated the newly elected representative body of All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS). Prime Minister extended his deepest congratulations to Mr. Sarmad Ali elected as President of APNS.
PM said that print media has played a vital role in strengthening democracy in Pakistan and the government would extend all possible assistance and support for the promotion and development of free and vibrant media in the country. He added that the government believes in free and independent media which can play an even more crucial role in the progress and development of our country. The PM expressed the hope that the elected body will make all possible efforts towards further betterment of print media industry and people associated with it. Sardar Khan Niazi while talking to scribe said that it is an honour to be elected member of executive body for the eighteenth times that too unopposed. While congratulating President of APNS Sarmad Ali, S K Niazi said that elected body will make all possible efforts towards further betterment of print media industry and people associated with it.
