RAWALPINDI: Cantonment Board Rawalpindi has issued polling scheme for local body elections to be held on April 25.
According to polling Scheme, 211 polling stations have been set up for all wards of the Rawalpindi cantonment board in which two polling booths would be combined for male and female.
More than 258,000 voters would exercise their right of votes in the elections. Two thousands government employees would perform their duties as polling staff in all the polling stations.
15 polling stations have been set up in ward No 01 for facilitating at least 17,538 male and 15 stations for 14,546 female voters. In ward No 02, 12 polling stations have been set up for 16,983 male and 12 for 14,161 female voters.
11 polling stations have been set up for 16,458 male and 09 stations for 14,371 female in ward No 3 while 11 polling stations have been set up in ward No 4 for 15,707 male and 11 stations for 13,049 female.
In ward No 5, 12 polling stations have been set up for 17,030 male and 12 stations for 15,307 female. 8 polling stations in ward 06 have been set up for 11,392 male voters while 8 stations have been set up for 10,207 female voters.
In ward No 7, 9 polling stations have been set up for 15,052 male voters and 7 stations for 12,253 female while in ward 8, 14,637 male and 12,971 female voters would be facilitated in 8 polling stations each.
In ward 9, 12 polling station have been set up for 14,015 male while 11 for 12,608 female voters. 11 polling stations have been set up for 13,137 male and 11 stations also for 10,845 female voters in ward No 10.
