America’s secret agency FBI has warned to be alert and said that the biggest threat in the presidential election could be Russia.
According to the American Broadcasting Corporation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have issued a warning.
The warning states that Russia will try to create division among the citizens by undermining their confidence in the election process.
The joint declaration said that fake videos and online articles will be used to incite people in decisive states that will play a major role in the outcome of the presidential election.
The statement said such content could incite voters to violence against each other. Cyber attacks are also feared.
