ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior and senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator A. Rehman Malik has expressed annoyances and displeasure over the rude attitude of Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendera Modi’s during meeting with Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharrif. He condemned it strong words declared it undiplomatic and inappropriate attitude.
In his statement issued here on Friday, Senator A. Rehman Malik says that Pakistan is a sovereign nuclear state and has always desired good relations based on mutual respect with its neighboring countries but unfortunately on the other side, Mr. Modi has always expressed hate against Pakistan which is strongly condemnable.
He said that the recent meeting of Mr. Narendera Modi with Pakistani Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharrif clearly demonstrates how much disrespectful the Indian PM was towards his Pakistani counterpart.
Senator A. Rehman Malik while commenting on the meeting said that Mr. Modi acted like the Zar of Russia while receiving our Prime Minister who was made to walk through a long corridor towards Mr. Modi’s chair/thrown who didn’t show the slightest courtesy under the diplomatic norms for his Pakistani counterpart to walk a few steps forward to receive him. Senator A. Rahman Malik said in fact by acting so Mr. Modi wanted to prove the fake superiority of India over Pakistan which is Mr. Modi’s superiority complex and a psychological disorder. The rude and undiplomatic attitude of Mr. Modi while meeting our Prime Minister has badly hurt the feelings of Pakistani nation and he is being condemned strongly for it, said Rehman Malik.
Senator A. Rehman Malik said that it is not for the first time while time and again Mr. Modi has expressed his hate for Pakistan and recently during his visit to Bangladesh he confessed the involvement of his country in breaking Pakistan in 1971. But, Mr. Modi mustn’t forget that it is not 1971 but we are now living in an era when Pakistan is a Nuclear powerful state with world strongest and most capable Army that can retaliate more fiercely beyond one imaginations, said Rehman Malik.
Senator A. Rehman Malik insisted on Mr. Narendra Modi to play a positive role towards the happiness, progress and peace across the border and region rather strengthening enmity and hate between two neighboring countries.
Senator A. Rehman Malik said that majority of the people of India reject the hate sentiments of Mr. Modi for Pakistan as people across the border want peace and tranquility. He asked the Indian peace loving people and the political leadership to condemn Mr. Modi for his inappropriate and undiplomatic behavior that results into hate nothing but else.
Senator A. Rehman Malik said that he and his party protest against the deregulatory attitude of Mr. Modi while meeting PM Nawaz Sharrif. Senator A. Rehman Malik asked the Government of Pakistan to must protest against Mr. Modi’s undiplomatic and inappropriate attitude on diplomatic level.
