In NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Sunday that red-ball skipper Rohit Sharma tested positive for COVID-19 following a rapid antigen test (RAT).
This is a major setback for team India ahead of the fifth Test against England.
On the third day of the warm-up game in Leicestershire, Sharma tested positive for the virus after a RAT.
