HYDERABAD: A notorious robber was killed in exchange of fire with police here on early Wednesday morning.
The encounter took place near Jatoi Chowk of Hyderabad where police traded fire with robber fleeing after committing robbery in which he was killed. However two of his accomp0lices managed to escape from the scene while firing at the police party.
Police said that the robber was wanted by various police stations of the district in dozens of cases of robberies and other crimes. His body was shifted to dead house for postmortem.
