Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that road construction work is underway in different areas of Karachi.
In Shireen Jinnah Colony, the road is being paved near Shahrah Ghalib near PSO Petrol Pump Kemari Gate No. 2 so that the residents of the area can be provided with convenience. These are the scenes of the changing and improving city of Karachi that are in front of the citizens today and will continue to be the same in the future.
He said that the Municipality is restoring the splendor and lights of Karachi and work is being done in every district of the city, which is proof that if the intention is right and the passion to work is there, then resources or powers never become an obstacle. Efforts are being made to complete the ongoing development works in Karachi on time and as soon as possible so that the citizens can be provided with convenience in transportation.
Due to heavy traffic in Shireen Jinnah Colony, the condition of the roads was alarming and traffic jams were being faced. In view of the dilapidated condition of the road near Keamari Gate No. 2, it was decided to complete and resurface it immediately and work on it was started quickly and will now be completed soon.
He said that the wider interest of the citizens of Karachi is our top priority and all available resources are being utilized for this.
