LAHORE: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Sunday said that joint resolution regarding Yemen conflict interprets the stance of the nation whereas criticism on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) has caused embarrassment to the government
Talking to media, he said that consensus resolution of the parliament on Yemen issue is reflective of people’s sentiments.
He said it is good that resignations of PTI parliamentarians were not accepted. Opposition leader asked that where Iftikhar Chaudhary was for the past eight months and now he is talking about PTI resignations.
He said that if anyone has problems with the resignation of PTI then they should have brought a resolution against them whereas PTI came to the assembly after fulfilling their conditions.
He stated that intimacy does not exist between government and opposition whereas principles are of utmost importance.
Khursheed Shah expressed that decision of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to refer the judicial commission is taken considering principles whereas PPP is playing a neutral role in the NA-246 by-elections. NNI
