LAHORE: The widow of admirable Urdu writer Ashfaq Ahmed and a renowned thinker herself Bano Qudsia died at the age of 88 on Saturday.
She was born on November 28, 1928. She has written numerous books in Urdu language in which her famous novel ‘Raja Gidh’ is amongst the most read novels in Urdu. Bano Qudsia was not well for the past few years.
She was hospitalised during the last ten days of her life. Her family includes three sons, their wives and grandchildren. Her funeral has not been announced yet, however, the body has been transferred to her house in Model Town. NNI
