ISLAMABAD: The latest audio leaks of PTI Chairman Imran Khan on diplomatic cypher would be the subject of a criminal probe, according to Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb.
On Monday, she stated at a news conference in Islamabad that the task had been given to an FIA committee that would work independently of politics.The information minister claimed that the PTI Chairman had admitted to his crime of using the cypher in the audio leaks.
Imran Khan acknowledged in an interview that he had misplaced the copy of Cipher.It is not a political issue, but one of national interest and the constitution, according to Marriyum Aurangzeb, and it will be resolved lawfully.
She condemned Imran Khan’s political motivations for compromising national security and breaking the secrecy act. She promised that this issue will be resolved rationally.According to her, Imran Khan’s entire plot and drama have been made public.
