ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday said that the government was ready to hold dialogues with the PTI. Talking to newsmen here, the Federal Minister said: “Dialogue process can be initiated from Sunday if PTI wants”, adding that Imran Khan-led political party demands a Judicial Commission that not only give report but also get it implemented. If such kind of commission was formed through an ordinance it would not resolve the matter, he said. Dar further said that Judicial Commission can also be made under the constitution of 1956. He said ISI and IB officials could not be made members of the Judicial Commission and PTI had been informed about this legal point. The JC itself can include ISI and IB men, he maintained. Dar urged PTI chief Imran to sit on negotiation table and said PML-N will leave the government if the commission proves ‘election rigging’.
On the other hand, PTI VP Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that nobody from the government has contacted his party for dialogues, saying that they were getting the news of dialogues from here and there. Agencies
