LAHORE: The government has removed hurdles in the path of the Inqilab March after mediation by the MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad talking to a private news channel said that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri has agreed over a peaceful march.
Governor Ebad said he remained in contact with Dr Tahirul Qadri to end a standoff between the police and the activists of PAT in Lahore. He said no hurdle should be placed in the way of peaceful march.
Earlier, the police had sealed the roads leading to Minhajul Quran Secretariat in Model Town.
After the assurance of peaceful march by Tahirul Qadri the hurdles in the path of the marchers were removed. INP
