LAHORE (DNA/INP): Punjab Government has regularized the services of fifty two thousand lady health workers contractual staff and other personnel of Health Department.
In this regard, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif distributed regularization letters to the staff in a ceremony in Lahore on Sunday (today) as the Chief Guest.
Addressing on the occasion, the CM praised the services of lady health workers for providing standard healthcare to mothers and children.
Shahbaz urged them to play more active role for controlling the dengue fever and other epidemic diseases in flood hit areas.
The Cheif Minister said the government will arrange professional training for all health workers adding that all their genuine demands will be fulfilled.
He congratulated the regularized employees and said it was their right and not a favour fro the government to get regularization letters.
Meanwhile, ex Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Sunday that if we want we can gather people to raise slogans of “Pagal Khan” in PTI rally in Lahore. He said that those chanting GoNawazGo slogans do not care about country’s integrity. He remarked that Tahirul Qadri can hold a protest rally by gathering millions in Cholistan as well but he can’t win a single seat in assembly.
Former provincial law minister said that Pakistan is passing through a critical phase, adding that protests won’t do any good. He said that the whole nation should unite for saving the country. The protest leaders are provoking people and instigating violence, said Sanaullah. If we want we can gather people to raise slogans of Pagal Khan in PTI rally but we won’t do that.
He also said that the protests are a conspiracy against the country which was planned in London. He labeled PTI sit-ins as music shows.
Talking about Qadri, he remarked that he can’t win a single seat in the assembly in spite of gathering thousands of people in protest. Regarding flood efforts, he told the media that the government has dedicated an amount of Rs 15 billion for the flood victims. He urged the whole nation to help the flood victims and stand united to make the Zarb-e-Azb operation successful.
