Patriot Report
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has invited all opposition parties to join them in the ‘Raiwand March’, in order to protest against the Sharif family’s offshore companies named in the Panama papers and pile pressure on the Prime Minister to force him into tendering his resignation.

In order to gather the opposition parties on one platform senior PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi met Pakistan People’s Party leader Khursheed Shah on Tuesday and invited him to join what he called the ‘Raiwand March’.

Khursheed Shah however tried to remain neutral and advised the prime minister to carry out a forensic audit so that his position becomes clear. A day earlier senior PPP leader and leader of the opposition in Senate Aitzaz Ahsan lambasted Sharif family in a fiery speech during the joint sitting of Parliament.

Qureshi also separately met Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq. Speaking to the media, the JI chief said that it was tragic to see that a leader of a Muslim country was facing allegations of involvement in such massive corruption. “My heart bleeds for the country,” he said.

It also emerged on Tuesday that Qureshi will get in touch with the Pakistan Muslim League-Q and extend an invitation to join them in the Raiwand March.
