Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh MPA Syed Hafeez-ud-din Kamal along with partners on Friday joined Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) of former mayor Mustaf Kamal.
Hafeez announced resignation from PTI and Sindh Assembly membership.
Hafeez said that Karachi has been hijacked by mafia as institutions are not working and local rights of authority have not been transferred to lower level. Opposition in Sindh Assembly has no value, he added.
Hafeez said he has joined PSP because party founder Mustafa Kamal has done Phd in mayor ship as well as in Karachi-related problems and only Kamal can resolve the very problems.
He expressed his views about PTI and said that he thought PTI would bring possible change in the country but PTI Chairman Imran Khan is surrounded by inexperienced friends. The PSP founder Mustafa Kamal warmly welcomed Hafeez and his partners.
Kamal also said he is thankful to Hafeez for joining the party over single invitation while other parties are losing their own seats. He also added that he welcomes everyone who are watching him at home and are not ready to take any step.
