LAHORE, Sept 26 (INP): Former law minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah on Friday said the resignations of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers will not be accepted until they appear before the National Assembly speaker individually.

“Imran Khan was a fine national leader, but Sheikh Rasheed and Chaudhry brothers have pushed him in a blind valley,” said Sanaullah while addressing a ceremony at Lahore College of Tourism and Hotel Management.

He said it was discretion of the National Assembly speaker to summon PTI lawmakers either in group or individually.

Sanaullah said the government itself permitted the PTI for holding rally in Lahore. “Security will also be ensured to the PTI public gathering,” added the former provincial minister.

He advised the protesting leaders in Islamabad to let marchers go their homes and celebrate Eidul Azha peacefully.
