Rawalpindi: 191 accused arrested during PTI’s protest in Islamabad appeared in court, court approves physical remand of 156 accused.
According to Express News, 191 accused arrested from Sadiqabad, Newtown and Dhamial police stations were presented in court, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Syed Amjad Ali Shah approved physical remand of 156 accused.
35 accused arrested from Sadiqabad and Dhamial were transferred to Adiala on 14-day judicial remand, while 10 accused were discharged from the Newtown police station case after arguments from the lawyer.
The court approved a 5-day remand of 77 accused arrested from Sadiqabad police station limits and ordered all the accused to be re-presented on December 3.
In the Newtown Police Station case, a six-day remand of 69 accused was granted and an order was issued to produce them again on December 4.
