FAISALABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Jahangir Tareen has said that the party had paid Rs 60 million to DG Butt and will pay if there is any outstanding balance.
Talking to media early on Thursday, Jahangir Tareen said that action should be taken against those fishes involved in corruption. “The PTI is fighting against status quo,” he said.
Commenting on DG Butt issue, he said that DJ Butt had been paid Rs 60 million.
Meanwhile, talking to a private TV channel, DJ Butt said that he has distributed Rs 59 million to the creditors and he still have to pay around 100 people.
He said that PTI will have to pay Rs 80 million.
He said that he will pay tax after the payment to the creditors.
