Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Monday issued schedule of its anti-corruption movement.
According to PTI announcement, the drive will begin with a march that will be held from Karachi to Shikarpur today. Senior PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi will lead the march. The anti-corruption drive will continue in Sindh till April 30.
PTI said Imran Khan will lead a rally from Sukkur to Rahim Yar Khan on April 30. According to the schedule, Imran Khan will address a large rally in Lahore on May 1.
The Jamaat-e-Islami, that is ally of the PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, also joined hands with PTI, announcing countrywide protests against corruption from May 1.
The special anti-corruption campaign is aimed at putting pressure on the government to consult with the opposition on formulation of terms of references (ToRs) for judicial commission.
